Toko content editor is based on the concept of edit areas, which means that in order to edit a page, you place special Toko tags in your html pages. This will have no effect on your page look (html/xml..etc). The browser will consider these tags as a remark.

There are 2 Mode options

Wysiwyg mode:
You may define on a single page several different areas to be edited by different users
and that in a visual mode (MS word like interface)

Or you may wish your users to edit an html page in a text mode only

Text mode: for example, if you have a page with 2 edit areas
1 - A title area
    Limit to 40 characters
    Only 2 authorized users will be able to edit this edit area (RICK and BILL)
2 - A text area.
    No limitation on text size
    All toko users will be able to edit this section
